Why is a History Fair Project different than many school assignments?

• Students individually or in groups choose a topic to investigate based on their own interests. Then they:
• research primary and secondary sources.
• rnalyze the sources,
• synthesize and develop their own argument, and then
• produce a project to communicate their work
• which is appreciated and judged by school and community volunteers.
